Wow Danny Forest, what a great gem of a piece! So much wisdom in both the quotes and the lessons learned by the people that spoke about them. And a great assembly of people too.

I really liked the following 2 in terms of taking action. And step by step, as small as they are, you get one step closer on your adventure to who you want to become. In your dreams and by happenstance in my opinion. For that is the beauty of the journey, the unexpected.

  1. “The most important thing about art is to work. Nothing else matters except sitting down every day and trying.” — Steven Pressfield, The War of Art
  2. “Successful people do what unsuccessful people are not willing to do — even when it doesn’t look like it makes any difference. And they do it long enough for the compounding effect to start to kick in.” — Jeff Olson, The Slight Edge

I’m probably most like you and Tom Kuegler in terms of writing, but most of all, the quotes and lessons you both provide. For almost all the quotes you two use and reflect on, I have a similar standpoint.

Then, one of my favorite quotes at this moment: “We suffer more often in imagination than in reality.” — Seneca.
